| Prizegiving 2011
Nelson Bays Squash Top Club competition and annual prizegiving was held at Nelson Squash club 15/16 October. Top club was contested by Waimea, Nelson, Celtic and Motueka and consists of top 4 A-B, C, D & E grade men and women competing. Congratulations to Motueka who won the competition for the second year running (Nick must have had a premonition as he had already had the trophy engraved with Motueka 2011!!). Chief junior squads sponsor, Peter Havill from Nelson Building Society presented the Junior awards. Di Connelly was recognised as the Volunteer of the Year 2011 for her outstanding contribution to Nelson Squash club this year, amongst other things she has done, given hours and hours of her time painting and wallpapering the club and successfully coordinating the NZ Masters tournament and Test matches which was an enormous task.
