Development Squads Nelson Bays Squash Association services the greater Nelson district in developing squash at all levels. Senior Squad It is this success that the Nelson Bays Squash Association wants to emulate with its senior members, particularly those who leave the junior programme and are passionate about continuing their development. The concept of the senior squad is mirrored on the Wellington Districts "TuckaTime - Team Wellington" programme. Players are selected for the programme with a maximum of 4 men and 4 women. The programme and the squad work towards specific goals. Junior Squad The Junior Development Squad has come a long way since being established in 2002. At the start of 2003 specific goals were set for the development of the programme and for the junior players involved. These goals have been achieved and now a new focus has been established for the upcoming season. It is this continual development which will provide accountability to those involved and will aid in creating depth to the squash culture within the Nelson region.
MAJOR SPONSOR The Nelson Bays Squash Junior Development programme thrives thanks to the generous support from the Nelson Building Society who have been long term sponsors of the programme. Thank you to Peter Havill and the team at Nelson Building Society for your continued support in helping our juniors achieve their dreams.
