- Oversee and coordinate funding
- Provide resources such as the Squash Development Officer
- Advocate on the clubs' behalf, ensuring physical buildings, human and financial resources are maximised.

Role of Nelson Bays Squash

NELSON BAYS SQUASH INC "Develop, foster and grow the game of Squash in the Nelson/Tasman District"
Administration	Squash promotion	Training	High Performance	Supporting Clubs	Encourage active participation at all levels
Provide strong administration and leadership	Media & communication releases	Support SDO & JDC in any training that will be beneficial to squash in the district	Support & co-ordinate senior representative & high performance squads	Work with Wn Squash Development	Seniors - Foster social squash and club nights
Ensure overall financial security	Coordinate clubs for Squash Week	Arrange training for coaches at all levels	Support & co-ordinate junior representative & high performance squads	Support Club coaching at all levels	Implement & promote initiatives eg DB ProKennex Squash Series
Provide financial support for SDO, JDC and district referees		Arrange and encourage members to become referees/ district referees		President or representative of NBS to attend all clubs AGM's and any other meetings the Clubs request	Juniors - SDO to foster Junior Interclub and tournaments
Ensure funding applications are completed and submitted by due date				Knowledge base and support for clubs applying for funds	SDO to arrange events for schools
Communicate with clubs via minutes, newsletters, correspondence					Microcourt to be fully booked for Terms 1 & 3
					SDO to organise holiday programmes
					SDO to assist Primary, Intermediate & Secondary schools with squash programmes
					Supporting Sport Tasman to co-ordinate Secondary Schools Regional & National squash events, social Secondary School leagues
